Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice preferred.
• Licenses: Class D Driver's License (state) - HR/Generic preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - issued by various providers.
• CHSO certification - International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety preferred.
• CHSS supervisory certification - IAHSS preferred.
• Experience in hospital, security/police, emergency medical or customer services.
• 3-5 years experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas, focusing on high-risk zones to prevent theft, injuries or damages.
• Investigate thefts, misconduct, or emergencies; restrain individuals if necessary and coordinate with law enforcement.
• Prepare and submit written incident reports; log all events accurately.
• Dispatch security personnel using integrated systems and coordinate responses to incidents.
• Participate in medical emergencies; assist in restraining patients as needed.
• Protect dignitaries and manage traffic flow for safety; may assist in court proceedings.
• Contribute to departmental committees and work in teams as required.
