The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer to join a professional team dedicated to maintaining a safe hospital environment.

You will deliver protective services, respond to emergencies, and assist with day-to-day security operations across campus locations. Qualifications include a high school diploma, 1-3 years of security experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma required.
• A combination of experience and education will be considered.
• 1-3 years of security or related experience preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s license.
• Must submit to and pass an initial and annual criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide protection to people and property through patrol, investigation, monitoring alarms and surveillance cameras.
• Patrol buildings and grounds, identify unsafe conditions and improperly secured areas to prevent theft, injuries or damages.
• Provide a high level of customer service by interacting with patients, visitors and staff professionally and proactively.
• Provide emergency response to a variety of situations.
• Prepare and submit written reports in a complete and accurate manner.
