Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a security professional to ensure a safe, secure environment and to lead daytime operations in the Security department.

You will assist with orientation, training, and performance of line staff, and may assume the role of responsible charge person in supervision gaps. You will patrol, respond to incidents, and coordinate with hospital leadership to maintain security standards and protect patients, visitors, and staff during evening shifts at 10

Responsibilities

• Assists a Supervisor/Manager with day-to-day operations and orderly shift coverage.
• Facilitates shift training and assists with New Employee Orientation and on-the-job training.
• Patrols assigned areas and identifies unsafe conditions to protect people and property.
• Investigates thefts and other incidents, coordinating with law enforcement as needed.
• Performs administrative duties such as badge creation and parking compliance data management.
