Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice preferred.
• Experience in hospital, security/police, emergency medical or customer services 3-5 years preferred.
• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to de-escalate anxious/stressed people and manage aggression.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas and identify unsafe conditions or security risks.
• Investigate complaints or potential criminal conduct; assist in restraining patients as necessary.
• Make arrests as appropriate under State Special Police license and notify authorities.
• Prepare and submit written incident reports and maintain logs.
• Dispatch security personnel and respond to medical emergencies or incidents.
• Participate in committees or teams as needed.
