OhioHealth in Pickerington Methodist Hospital is seeking an evening-shift pharmacist. Duties include dispensing and compounding medications, counseling patients, interpreting prescriptions, and managing drug therapies.

Strong collaboration with physicians and nurses is required, with mentorship of students and residents. OhioHealth emphasizes patient safety, cost-effective therapy, and high reliability in care delivery.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution (Required).
• Current Ohio pharmacist license (Required).
• Basic Life Support Certification - current or obtained during orientation.
• ASHP accredited residency or equivalent pharmacy practice experience.
• Pharmacy Board Certifications or other certifications.
• Advanced-level degree in healthcare field.
• Collaborative practice experience.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (may be required).
• Pharmacokinetic drug dosing experience.
• Drug therapy management.

Responsabilidades

• Dispensing and compounding medications; counseling patients on medication and health topics.
• Interpreting prescriptions and managing patient drug therapy.
• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other health-care practitioners to provide safe, high-quality drug therapy.
• Pharmacists may administer medications as allowed by state law.
• Serve as preceptors for pharmacy students and residents.
