Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking a Food Service Worker to join the team at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. This role supports the main kitchen and Nutrition Services, setting up stations, maintaining sanitation, and rotating stock.

The position reports to the Manager Culinary or Operations Manager and requires adherence to food safety standards. Location is on-site in Fall River with an evening shift and weekend/holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written instructions.
• Experience with proper food safety/sanitary procedures preferred.
• Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for the main kitchen of the Food & Nutrition Department including set up all stations and perform positions, break down stations completely ensuring they are cleaned and sanitized.
• Perform floor stock procedures and rotate/date/label items prior to storage or sale.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and food surfaces according to procedures; use proper utensils for accurate portions.
