Job summary

Southcoast Health System, Inc. is seeking a Food Service Worker - Retail at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA.

This per diem role offers Day/Evening shifts (6:00am - 2:30pm, 3:30pm - 7:00pm) with weekend and holiday rotation, located at Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River. In this role you will support the Retail areas of the Food & Nutrition Department, set up stations, ensure sanitation, and manage dating, labeling, and rotation of food items for sale.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow written instructions.
• Experience with proper food safety/sanitation procedures preferred.
• Fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or eligible for exemption with a signed statement.

Responsibilities

• Support for the Retail areas of the Food & Nutrition Department including set up all stations and perform positions, break down stations completely ensuring they are cleaned and sanitized.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and food surfaces according to procedures.
• Ensure all food items are accurately dated, labeled, and rotated prior to storage or sale.
• Use proper utensils to ensure accurate portions.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
