Job summary

Mass General Brigham is hiring an Environmental Services/Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the hospital environment at 66 Blossom Street, Boston, with Monday–Friday evenings (2:45–11:15 PM). You will lead the housekeeping program to keep patient areas clean, safe, and orderly for all.

The role requires 5–7 years of hospital housekeeping experience, 2–3 years in supervision, and a preferred Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 5–7 years of hospital cleaning equipment and chemical experience.
• 2–3 years in a supervisory role preferred.
• Knowledge of safety, infection prevention, and regulatory standards.
• Ability to manage budgets and inventories for housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Establish standards, policies, and work procedures for housekeeping staff.
• Develop work schedules and assign staff to areas and shifts.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping personnel.
• Inspect facilities for cleanliness, safety, and efficiency.
• Manage budgets, inventories, and equipment purchases.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
