Job summary

Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Services Aide Level I to provide a clean, sanitary, and pleasant environment for patient care.

The role supports infection control and quality standards within Mass General Brigham’s system, reporting to the Supervisor, Environmental Services. The position is part of the 1199SEIU Bargaining Unit at Cooley Dickinson Hospital, with an evening shift from 3:00pm-11:30pm, a Monday–Friday schedule, and rotating holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of environmental services/housekeeping experience preferred.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and high-quality customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean ceilings, surfaces, furnishings, and floors to high standards of cleanliness.
• Sanitize bathrooms and restock supplies daily.
• Move patient beds, change mattresses, and set up meeting rooms as requested.
• Monitor department pager and respond to requests promptly.
• Follow infection control policies and maintain safety practices.
