Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks an Environmental Services Aide Level I for Cooley Dickinson Hospital, onsite at 30 Locust Street. The role is per diem with an evening shift and provides an opportunity to contribute to patient care by maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities include cleaning patient care areas, restocking supplies, and following infection control procedures. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and prior housekeeping experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of environmental services/housekeeping experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to follow oral and written instructions required.
• Experience in environmental services or housekeeping preferred.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and high-quality customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Clean ceilings, surfaces, walls, furnishings and floors to high standards of cleanliness and disinfection.
• Sanitize bathrooms and restock items daily.
• Dry mop and damp mop floors; vacuum assigned areas.
• Collect and transport trash per regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of entrances, draperies, blinds, and sheets as needed.
• Move beds and change linens per request.
• Prepare and set up meeting rooms as requested.
• Follow infection control policies while performing duties.
