Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Services Aide Level I to maintain a clean, sanitary environment that supports high-quality patient care.

The role is part of our on-site facilities team at 30 Locust Street, Northampton, MA, with an evening shift and a 32-hour weekly schedule. Qualified candidates typically have a high school diploma and some environmental services experience, with strong attention to detail and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of environmental services/housekeeping preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to follow oral and written instructions required.
• Experience in environmental services or housekeeping preferred.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and high-quality customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Clean ceilings, surfaces, walls, furnishings and floors to high standards of cleanliness and disinfection.
• Sanitize bathrooms and restock items daily.
• Mhem? (transcribed) Dry mop and damp mop floors; vacuum assigned areas.
• Transport trash to designated areas following regulations.
• Maintain alarms, doors and entryways, and set up meeting spaces as requested.
• Move beds and handle linens; adhere to infection control policies.
