Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a Hang Line Operator for the 2nd shift in Martin, TN. You will perform production duties, set up the workstation, assist in changeovers, and visually inspect in-process and finished parts.

You will ensure safe operation and adherence to ISO 9000 and Lean standards while communicating effectively with team members. The role requires lifting up to 30lbs, using hand tools and air guns, and contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 30lbs.
• Ability to use required hand tools and air guns.
• Troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Ability to interact with people.
• Knowledge of ISO and Lean Manufacturing Standards.
• Effective communication skills and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Production duties as assigned by Team Coach and Team Leader.
• Setup workstation.
• Assist in change over and Lean procedures.
• Visual inspection of work in process and finished product.
• Check process and finished parts using checking fixtures and gauges.
• Understand the safe operation of all equipment.
• Follow quality, production, safety standards, and ISO and Company procedures.
• Highlight concerns and identify opportunities for improvement.
