Job summary

Martin, TN-based Stanley Black & Decker is seeking an assembler for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:30pm-12am). You’ll join our team to produce high-quality components, set up workstations, assist in changeovers, and perform visual inspections.

You will follow ISO and Lean standards, maintain safety, and contribute to continuous improvement while learning new tooling and processes in a world-class manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 30lbs.
• Ability to use required hand tools and air guns.
• Trouble shooting and problem solving skills.
• Ability to interact with people.
• Knowledge of ISO and Lean Manufacturing Standards.
• Effective communication skills as well as good written skills.

Responsibilities

• Production duties as assigned by Team Coach and Team Leader.
• Setup workstation.
• Assist in change over and Lean procedures.
• Visual inspection of work in process and finished product.
• Check process and finished parts using checking fixtures and gauges.
• Understand the safe operation of all equipment.
• Follow quality, production, safety standards, and ISO and Company procedures.
• Highlight concerns and identify opportunities for improvement.
