Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of subject matter and competency-based instruction.
• Experience teaching developmental, pre-GED, GED, and related transition skills.
• Ability to create individual study plans based on student needs and goals.
• Flexibility to modify workload and schedule for peak demands.

Responsibilities

• Instruct literacy, adult basic education, college readiness and GED prep at outreach locations.
• Serve as liaison between outreach locations and Butler of El Dorado Center to deliver Adult Education services.
• Develop curriculum, administer assessments, conduct follow-up, and maintain records for program delivery.
• Potential to substitute for other instructors and participate in professional development.
