Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in furnace or heat-treat operations preferred.
• Familiarity with cranes, forklifts, and power tools is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare machines according to daily production schedules.
• Prepare equipment and ensure furnace settings are accurate.
• Monitor shift operation of machinery and adjust settings as necessary.
• Load and unload setups, breakdowns, and operating equipment.
• Operate related equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and power tools when required.
• Maintain logs and monitor equipment output for quality.
• Follow router directions and date all pertinent information.
• Ensure a safe and clean workplace and use PPE as required.
• Coordinate with outside shops for fixtures and special machining.
