Job summary

Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa on Del Monte Golf Course is seeking an Assistant Front Office Manager to support the Front Office Manager and supervise front desk operations on the evening shift.

You will oversee the front office, concierge, PBX and bell staff, hire and develop the team, and ensure exceptional service and guest satisfaction throughout the guest’s stay. This role emphasizes leadership and hospitality excellence.

Qualifications

• Prior cash handling experience is required.
• Minimum of 2 years front office hotel experience in a similar role.
• Strong guest service, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage front office operations to ensure profitability and guest satisfaction.
• Oversee concierge, PBX, and bell staff; recruit and develop the team.
• Coordinate evening shift to ensure a Manager On-Duty is available.
• Resolve complaints and improve service with Front Office Manager.
• Model professional hospitality and empower staff to deliver excellent service.
