Job summary

Deer Meadows Retirement Community is seeking customer service oriented individuals to join our front desk team. The receptionist handles checking in/out visitors, operating the telephone console, and coordinating communications for residents and families.

We offer full-time and part-time shifts from 6am–2pm or 2pm–10pm, with every other weekend work. English literacy required; orientation training provided to onboarding staff.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and understand English.
• Must have the ability to understand others and communicate with residents, family members and the public.
• Completion of an in-house orientation training program.

Responsibilities

• Checking in and out visitors.
• Operation of the telephone console.
• Monitoring Fire Alarms and community communications affecting residents.
• Support security duties and daily walkthroughs with the front desk team.
