Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Reception at our Chicopee, MA location. You will greet visitors, manage access control, verify credentials, and deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining a professional presence.

The role requires compliance with site procedures, attention to safety, and readiness to respond to security concerns. Full-time hours with a daytime/evening schedule are included.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge handling experience preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• State/local licensing may be required.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and employees by following site-specific security procedures and front desk policies.
• Greet and direct visitors, manage access, and maintain accurate visitor and delivery records.
• Answer calls, provide information, and communicate professionally with site personnel and vendors.
