Job Description

As a Security Officer Front Office in Quincy, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a retail location, you will be the welcoming presence for visitors, employees, and vendors while monitoring access, responding to security-related concerns, and helping to deter incidents through a professional, visible presence. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors at a retail location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain visitor logs as required.
• Monitor entry activity, cameras, alarms, and/or other assigned systems; report unusual activity and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Maintain clear written records, including incident reports, access activity, and shift handoff information, while supporting a professional and welcoming front-desk environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
