Morningstar Buoy Haus Beach Resort in St. Thomas seeks an Assistant Front Office Manager to support the Front Office Manager in daily desk operations and guest service excellence. You’ll help oversee staff, enforce policies, and ensure smooth evening coverage as the Manager On-Duty.

The role emphasizes leadership across front desk disciplines, cash handling, and clear communication with guests and team members, contributing to a premium hospitality experience in a beachfront setting.

Qualifications

• Prefer 1+ year departmental management or supervisory experience in hotel front office.
• Ability to manage and lead each discipline of the department independently.
• Prior cash handling experience necessary.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other Team Members.
• Computer experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Front Office Manager in overseeing daily front desk operations.
• Ensure the highest level of guest service and policy compliance.
• Cover evening shift as Manager On-Duty and supervise staff.
