Job summary

Wind Creek Hospitality is seeking a Front Desk Agent to welcome guests, register rooms, and manage check-in/check-out transactions at our Wetumpka, Alabama hotel.

The role requires 21+ years old, a high school diploma or GED, 20 wpm typing, and strong customer service and communication skills. You must be able to stand for long shifts, lift up to 40 lbs, and work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or enrolled and complete GED within six months
• Must be 21 years or older
• Typing speed 20 wpm minimum (test administered)
• Good writing and verbal communication skills (test administered)
• Experience in customer service required

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests and project a positive image
• Register guests for hotel rooms and process check-in/check-out transactions
• Enroll guests into the players club and issue rewards cards on demand
• Provide information about the property, hotel, promotions, and services
• Handle cash and process check authorizations; perform faxing and copying as needed
• Maintain cash drawer and submit required documentation
• Assist with guest issues and disputes to ensure satisfaction
• Answer calls and route them appropriately; assist with Concierge tasks as needed
• Support housekeeping and maintenance by reporting issues and keeping areas orderly
• Willing to work odd hours, nights, weekends, and holidays; travel for training if required
