Up to Par Management's Inn at Canaan Valley is seeking a friendly Front Desk Agent for the 3:00pm–11:00pm shift. You will warmly greet guests, register arrivals, and manage room assignments using our system. You will handle billing, assist with luggage, and coordinate with housekeeping to ensure impeccable service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required or preferred.
• 1-2 years of front desk/hospitality experience preferred.
• Competent computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience using hotel reservation system such as RoomKey is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and good communication with team and managers.

Responsibilities

• Answer any phone calls that come through to the Inn.
• Greet and welcome all guests in a professional and hospitable manner.
• Register guests and assign them a guest room.
• Have thorough working knowledge of the hotel property management system.
• Verify customers' credit and establish how the customer will pay for their bill.
• Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts using the POS.
• Review the reservation transaction reports daily.
• Compute bills and collect payments from guests.
• Issue room keys and assist guests with luggage.
• Coordinate with housekeeping/maintenance as needed.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and follow service standards.
• Provide information to guests about hotel services, local area, and directions.
