Job summary

SMI Hotel Group seeks a friendly Front Desk Agent to welcome guests, manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently, and provide information about rooms, rates, and available amenities. The position requires availability for the 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shift and a commitment to delivering memorable service that makes every stay welcoming.

You will handle cash and credit card transactions, balance cash drawers, and assist guests with reservations and questions.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or similar role
• Experience with hotel reservations software, like OnQ or Opera
• Customer service experience
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• The hotel front desk agent will handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities
• Assist guests and resolve guest challenges to ensure 100% guest satisfaction
• Accurately conduct all cash handling and credit card processing activities
• Accurately, audit, balance and report on all cash and credit transactions including checks, deposits, house charges, postings etc. in the hotel in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Perform any other job related duties as assigned
