Job summary

Hammonds Lane is seeking a Receptionist to work Monday-Friday, 4pm-8pm in our nursing center. You will be the first point of contact for patients, visitors and staff, handling calls, welcoming guests and managing clerical tasks to support daily operations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong English communication, and proficiency with Google Docs/Sheets/Slides. This full-time on-site role offers employee benefits and growth opportunities in a compassionate care setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English to ensure safety and well-being of patients and visitors.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Must be proficient with Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls professionally and courteously and redirect them appropriately.
• Warmly welcome, greet and direct patients, visitors, and guests.
• Coordinate outgoing and incoming mail.
• Maintain current lists of patients/residents by name/room number and employees by names/phone extension.
• Order supplies and performs other clerical duties as assigned.
