Job summary

You will operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts and reach trucks, load and move cargo, scan with handheld devices, and follow safety procedures. This role requires a valid forklift certification, 3+ years dock experience, and the ability to stand for long hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid forklift certification/licensure required.
• 3+ years dock/warehouse experience.
• English communication in writing and speech.
• Ability to read labels, barcodes, and freight weights.
• Willingness to learn computer systems and scanners.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using forklifts and MHE.
• Move, stage, and position freight between dock areas.
• Pick, pack, and prepare items for shipping.
• Assist drivers with loading/unloading following safety procedures.
• Label, scan, and track freight with handheld devices.
• Identify damaged freight and report issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe dock environment.
• Work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
