Compass Group USA is hiring a Floor Technician for Ascension St Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, MD. This full-time role entails night shifts (8:30 pm–7:30 am) with pay ranging $16.75–$17.75 per hour and a requirement of 3 years of related experience.

The position focuses on floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment. Associates receive a range of benefits; full-time and part-time roles offer retirement and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures on hard floor care (stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, spray buffing).
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Perform carpet and upholstery care (shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming).
• Conduct maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
