Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a full-time Floor Technician for Northwest Hospital in Randallstown, MD. The role covers floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment. Schedule is 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm with rotating weekends/holidays.

We require 1 year of prior floor care experience and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Competitive pay and benefits are offered; online applications accepted only.

Qualifications

• 1 year of floor care experience required.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures (stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, spray buffing).
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Use automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Perform carpet and upholstery care (shampooing, damp surfaces, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming).
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surfaces.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
