Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring immediately for a full-time Floor Technician at UM Saint Joseph Medical Center in Towson, MD. The role covers floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment, with a fixed pay rate of $17 per hour.

Qualifications

• Prior floor care experience preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, or pushing up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning and spray buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Uses automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Performs carpet and upholstery care including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extractions and vacuuming.
• Performs maintenance and restoration for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
