Job summary

Baxter is hiring a Field Service Technician I in the United States. The role focuses on preparing products for patient use, performing cleaning, disinfecting, and functional checks, and making minor repairs on Baxter and non-Baxter items.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain DOT physical card.

Responsibilities

• Move and inspect medical products in Baxter service centers, facilities, and private homes.
• Load and unload Baxter products and maneuver the medical equipment within truck beds.
• Troubleshoot and evaluate any needed repairs.
• Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance on Baxter products.
• Provide on-call coverage, up to 24/7 basis including weekends and holidays.
• Navigate electronic devices like smartphone, tablet, or PC to enter or retrieve information.
• Demonstrate how to use Baxter products to hospital staff and caregivers.
