Job summary

Baxter International Inc. is hiring a Field Service Technician I to ensure product readiness for patient use across rental and customer-owned medical devices. You will clean, disinfect, perform checks, and complete minor repairs on Baxter and non-Baxter products in service centers and customer sites.

The role supports on-call coverage and requires lifting up to 65 pounds, a valid license, and DOT physical. A flexible afternoon/evening shift and weekend coverage are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver\'s license required.
• Obtain and maintain a DOT physical card required.

Responsibilities

• Move and inspect medical products within Baxter service centers, healthcare facilities, and private homes; load and unload Baxter product and maneuver equipment.
• Troubleshoot and evaluate any needed repairs; perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance.
• Provide on-call coverage, up to 24/7, including weekends and holidays.
• Navigate electronic devices like smartphones, tablets, or PCs to enter or acquire information.
• Demonstrate how to use Baxter products to hospital staff and caregivers.
• Sustain a clean and safe work environment with 5S methods.
• Safely operate a company vehicle ranging from a cargo van to a 26,000-pound truck.
