Job summary

Baxter is hiring a Field Service Technician I in the United States. The role focuses on product readiness, cleaning, disinfecting, function checks, and minor repairs of Baxter and non-Baxter medical products.

You will move and inspect equipment across service centers, healthcare facilities, and patient homes. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 65 pounds, and PPE usage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Obtain and maintain a DOT physical card required.

Responsibilities

• Move and inspect medical products within service centers, healthcare facilities, and private homes.
• Load and unload Baxter product and maneuver equipment.
• Troubleshoot and evaluate repairs; perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance.
• Provide on-call coverage, including weekends and holidays.
• Navigate electronic devices to enter or acquire information.
• Demonstrate product use to hospital staff and caregivers.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow 5S practices.
• Safely operate company vehicle ranging from cargo van to 26,000-pound truck.
