Job summary

Baxter International Inc. in the United States is hiring a Field Service Technician I to ensure product readiness for patient use across rental and customer-owned medical devices.

You will clean, disinfect, perform function checks, and carry out minor repairs on Baxter and non-Baxter products in various settings. You will load, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment, provide on-call support, train hospital staff, and uphold a clean, safe work environment with 5S practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and DOT medical card required.

Responsibilities

• Move and inspect medical products within Baxter service centers, healthcare facilities, and private homes. Load/unload Baxter product and maneuver equipment in truck beds.
• Troubleshoot and evaluate repairs. Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance on Baxter products.
• Provide on-call coverage, up to 24/7, including weekends/holidays, which may require customer visits.
• Navigate devices like smartphone/tablet/PC to enter or retrieve information.
• Demonstrate how to use Baxter products to hospital staff and caregivers.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment with 5S practices.
