Job summary

Baxter Healthcare is seeking a Field Service Technician I to prepare medical products for patient use, including cleaning, disinfecting, checks and minor repairs. The role supports service centers and customer sites with a focus on safety and quality.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM. You will visit healthcare facilities and customer accounts, perform checks, and ensure proper operation of Baxter equipment. Join a team dedicated to health outcomes and reliable service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Obtain and maintain a DOT physical card.

Responsibilities

• Move and inspect medical products within Baxter service centers, healthcare facilities, and private homes.
• Troubleshoot and evaluate any needed repairs; perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
• Provide on-call coverage, up to 24/7 including weekends and holidays; may require customer account visits.
• Navigate electronic devices like smartphones, tablets, or PCs to enter or retrieve information.
• Demonstrate how to use Baxter products to hospital staff and caregivers.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment with 5S practices.
• Safely operate a company vehicle from a cargo van to a 26,000-pound truck.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 65 pounds with proper safety procedures.
• Wear PPE and complete safety/compliance modules and testing.
