Job summary

Baxter is seeking a Field Service Technician I in the United States to ensure patient-ready medical products. The role involves cleaning, disinfecting, performing function checks, and minor repairs of Baxter and non-Baxter equipment, in service centers, hospitals, and patient homes.

You will troubleshoot, provide on-call coverage, and train hospital staff on product use, while adhering to safety standards and 5S practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• Obtain and maintain a DOT physical card required.

Responsibilities

• Move and inspect medical products within Baxter service centers, healthcare facilities, and private homes.
• Load and unload Baxter products and maneuver the medical equipment within truck beds.
• Troubleshoot and evaluate repairs; perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance.
• Provide on-call coverage, up to 24/7 including weekends and holidays.
• Demonstrate how to use Baxter product to hospital staff and caregivers.
