Job summary

SOLID Surface Care, Inc. is seeking a Field Manager to lead evening operations and supervise field staff, ensuring all work is completed and closed out per SOPs.

This role combines hands-on supervision with administrative duties, requiring clear communication up and down the hierarchy and hands-on problem solving. You will travel to job sites, ensure safety and compliance, train new staff, and manage inventory and equipment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years general managerial experience.
• At least 2 years general maintenance or cleaning experience.
• Extensive experience with Operations scheduling.
• Strong knowledge of SOLID operations, and KPI's.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute operations plan on a weekly and monthly basis in line with SOW obligations.
• Ensure field employees have sufficient knowledge and training to execute jobs.
• Travel to job sites to prepare for unique or complex jobs and manage site logistics.
• Perform pre- and post-service walk-throughs of client sites and document observations.
• Drive a SOLID vehicle and perform on-site work inspections.
• Maintain safety and regulatory warehouse compliance per OSHA and standards.
• Interact with employees and customers, handling complaints and conflicts.
• Maintain inventory so the office has 30 days of stock.
• Provide weekly progress assessments for technicians’ development.
• Lead by example to motivate technicians and ensure KPI achievement.
