United Health Services (UHS) is seeking a Maintenance Technician 2 to perform routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and building systems. The role supports facility operations and patient safety on 2nd and 3rd shifts in the Southern Tier region of New York.

You will handle preventive maintenance, grounds duties, and documentation of activities while ensuring safe, efficient operation of boilers and climate systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 2–4 years of operational level maintenance/engineering experience.
• Hospital experience preferred if possible.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing equipment.
• Conduct routine grounds maintenance to keep outdoor areas safe and presentable.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring and electronic equipment as needed.
• Service, maintain, and repair refrigeration and air conditioning units for climate control.
• Complete a broad range of building maintenance tasks including carpentry and painting as assigned by supervisors.
• Operate and maintain boilers and assist security staff as needed.
• Respond promptly to maintenance work orders and document activities in logs.
