Job summary

Senior Living Hospitality Group in Southbury, CT is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for preventive maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems in a healthcare/residential setting.

You will respond to work orders, inspect facilities, assist with emergencies, manage tool inventory, and follow safety and infection control protocols, with a Sunday-Thursday 11pm-7am rotation and on-call duties.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
2+ years of maintenance experience in healthcare, residential, or commercial settings.
Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
Respond to work orders and repair requests promptly.
Inspect and maintain facility grounds, buildings, and equipment.
Address hazards to ensure safety compliance and conduct routine checks.
Assist in emergency repairs and disaster preparedness procedures.
Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and parts.
Collaborate with vendors and contractors for major repairs.
Follow infection control and safety protocols in maintenance activities.
