Job summary

Biltmore is seeking a Facilities Services Staff member for the 3pm–11pm second shift. Responsibilities include cleaning diverse floor surfaces, restroom upkeep, and light maintenance across the estate.

The role supports special events and emergency responses, with overtime and seasonal hours as needed. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of custodial or maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or GED) required. Additional education or certification preferred.
• At least one year custodial/janitorial or maintenance experience.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to guest service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to read and understand MSD sheets and operate cleaning equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Dust, mop, buff floors and clean restrooms to high standards.
• Vacuum carpets and shampoo stairs as needed.
• Change light bulbs and perform light maintenance duties.
• Assist with special events and daily operations as directed.
• Respond to outages or emergencies in a prompt, safety-conscious manner.
