Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in our Emergency Department. You will apply the nursing process from admission to discharge, perform assessments, and coordinate care plans with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

The role requires MA RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS where applicable; BSN is preferred. A signing bonus may be available, and the position is based in Worcester, MA with evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is a requirement for every RN; ACLS certification current when required by unit.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process to deliver and manage patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessments and reassessments per standard procedures.
• Develops and coordinates individualized plans of care including discharge planning.
