Job summary

Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department team at Lancaster General Hospital, a Level I-accredited Trauma Center. This full-time position offers evenings (3pm-3am), on-call requirements, and rotating weekends/holidays.

As a Clinical Nurse 2, you will assume nursing responsibility and work as a full partner on the health care team, delivering high-quality patient care across diverse ages while adhering to ANA standards.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required (PA)
• BSN or higher nursing degree required
• CPR Certification (AHA) within 30 days of hire
• Active license in good standing with Medicare/Medicaid and state boards

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using nursing process across age groups
• Perform patient assessments and develop care plans
• Coordinate care with interprofessional team
• Educate patients and families on health practices
• Ensure safety and compliance with regulatory standards
