Equiliem is seeking an Electronics Assembler for the Buffalo, NY area on the 2nd shift (4:00 PM–12:30 AM). The role involves precision assembly, soldering, inspection, and testing of electronic components, reading technical drawings, and maintaining quality records.

You should have 2+ years of electronics assembly or an associate degree, hands-on soldering experience, and proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• 2+ years electronics assembly or manufacturing experience or an associate degree in electronics or a related technical discipline.
• Hands-on soldering experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and assembly instructions.
• Basic computer proficiency including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 10 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and commitment to quality.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components and circuit card assemblies per drawings and work instructions.
• Perform precision soldering, component installation, and electronic assembly operations.
• Support circuit board rework and repair, cable and wire harness fabrication, and electromechanical assembly.
• Operate soldering stations, crimping tools, microscopes, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Perform continuity checks and inspect completed assemblies for quality and workmanship.
• Identify assembly defects and complete necessary repairs or rework.
• Document production activities and maintain accurate manufacturing and quality records.
• Follow safety procedures, ESD requirements, and established quality control standards.
• Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and supervisors to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Complete required workmanship and manufacturing training.
