Everett Public Schools in Everett, MA is seeking a Day 6 Program ELA Teacher to support re-engaged students and staff in the evening program. The role focuses on delivering ELA lessons, differentiating instruction, and using a technology platform to monitor progress within a hybrid in-person setting.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree, Massachusetts Teaching Licensure, and SEI Endorsement. A Master’s degree and HQIM knowledge are preferred, with a stipend of up to $7,000 for the SY 27.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate ELA lessons for in-person and hybrid learning models.
• Teach daily mini-lessons in ELA to small groups with varying levels of need.
• Create assignments for students to complete outside of school using a technology platform.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students.
• Utilize SEI strategies for students on IEPs and English Learners.
• Collaborate with school staff to refer students needing social-emotional support.
• Collaborate to review IEPs and ensure accommodations are delivered.
