Job summary

Baptist Health's Baptist Medical Center South is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to manage ED operations during the third shift. The RN on this shift will supervise nursing staff on the floor, perform patient assessments, plan care, and implement interventions with a focus on quality and continuity of care.

This role requires active RN licensure, BLS, and a BSN preferred; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required by area. Strong communication, teamwork, and infection control are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing is required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN licensure required; BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending on area.
• Ability to observe, assess, and record work, safety and infection control standards.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff on shift to ensure quality care and continuity.
• Perform patient assessments, plan care, and implement interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in care planning and delivery.
• Fulfill additional duties within the scope of the role as assigned.
