Job summary

Baptist Health's Emergency Department is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 7P shift at Baptist Medical Center South to supervise nursing staff and coordinate patient care.

The RN will apply the nursing process for assessments, planning and interventions, and will collaborate with physicians and other clinicians to ensure quality outcomes. BSN preferred; active RN licensure and BLS required; ACLS/PALS may be required depending on area.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN licensure; BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required by area.
• Ability to observe, assess, and document patient status; teamwork with clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing personnel on shift, including weekends/holidays.
• Utilize the nursing process for assessments, planning and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians on patient care planning.
• Maintain patient safety and quality of care on the unit.
