Job summary

OU Health is seeking a PRN Evening Lab tech - Medic to support the Yukon Emergency Department. The role requires paramedic training and hospital experience, with duties spanning patient assessment, vital signs, and collaboration with the care team.

Under physician direction, you will assist with labs, IVs, EKGs, and medication administration in accordance with policy and protocols. This evening PRN position offers flexibility within the ED environment.

Qualifications

• Paramedic Training Program required.
• 2 years hospital and/or pre-hospital experience required.
• Paramedic License (OK) and NREMT certification required; BLS, PALS, ACLS within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide care per OU Health policies and procedures.
• Collaborate on treatment plans with patient and family.
• Maintain clear communication with physicians and nurses.
• Record vital signs and monitor patient status.
• Assist with IVs, labs, and basic procedures per competency.
• Administer medications under supervision and policy.
