Job summary

OU Health Yukon Emergency Department is seeking a PT Midshift Paramedic to provide emergency patient care under supervision and clinical direction. You will collect and convey patient data, support the physician and nursing team, and assist with treatments and documentation.

The role requires Oklahoma paramedic license, NREMT, BLS, and within 3 months PALS and ACLS. Minimum two years of hospital or pre-hospital experience is expected, with strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• Paramedic Training Program required.
• 2 years hospital and/or pre-hospital experience required.
• Paramedic License issued by the State of Oklahoma required.
• Paramedic Certification by NREMT required.
• BLS by AHA required.
• PALS by AHA required within 3 months.
• ACLS by AHA required within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide care per OU Health policies and procedures.
• Collaborate on treatment plans with patient and healthcare team.
• Maintain clear communication with attending physician and nurse.
• Observe and report patient signs or symptoms.
• Assist with care delivery and documentation.
• Ensure patient safety and charting competence.
• Record vital signs and input/output.
• Attach oxygen and monitor cardiac rhythm and EKGs.
