MaineGeneral Health in Waterville/Augusta is seeking an experienced Evening Nurse Supervisor for the Emergency Department. This full-time, exempt role provides nursing leadership during the evening shift, with call responsibilities and supervision across ED campuses.

The position requires an active Maine RN license, a BSN, and at least 5 years of staff nurse experience with supervisory duties, plus strong leadership and collaboration skills with staff and physicians.

Qualificações

• Active Maine RN licensure or ability to obtain in a timely fashion.
• BSN required.
• Preferred clinical expertise in ED or ICU nursing.
• Minimum 5 years as staff nurse with supervisory/charge nurse experience.
• Excellent leadership, effective communication, and autonomous critical thinking skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to staff during assigned shift.
• Coordinate patient care flow between units and manage resource use.
• Evaluate effectiveness of care and address issues affecting outcomes.
• Coordinate patient care with staff, physicians, and other departments; respond to complaints/conflicts.
• Make administrative decisions in the absence of the Department Manager/Director.
