Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Direct Support Professional to empower individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges to live with dignity and independence. This on-site, full-time role offers hands-on care in a team-based setting and ongoing professional development.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and involves lifting up to 50 lbs, medication administration, and following individualized care plans. Training is provided, with strong growth opportunities within the organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Experience in disability services preferred (not required—we train!)

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with kindness and respect.
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities.
• Follow individualized care plans and document progress.
• Administer medications in accordance with policy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
• Encourage community engagement and participation.
• Some DSP roles may require travel between Residential and Day programs.
