Job summary

Merakey, a leading nonprofit provider of developmental and behavioral health services, is seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our Hershey, PA team. This role offers a 3rd shift (11:00pm-7:00am) with rotating weekends and pay rate of $16.25/hr plus $2 enhanced pay.

No experience required—paid training is provided. You will support individuals with daily living, personal care, mobility, and community activities, while documenting progress and maintaining safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• High School diploma/G.E.D. Preferred.
• Related direct care experience (DSP, CAN, HHA) preferred.
• Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation
• Support life skills development, including household tasks and social skills
• Provide community support, transportation
• Promote health, safety, and well-being, including medication support (as trained)
• Complete required documentation, progress notes, and service logs
