Job summary

Verland is seeking Direct Support Professionals to join Terrace House in Greentree, PA. This full-time, 40-hour per week role covers evenings (3pm–11pm, Tue–Sat) and involves providing exceptional care to residents with complex needs.

New wage is $20.00/hr with a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Two weeks of paid training are provided, plus a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and transfer without restrictions.
• Must pass a complete Background, Physical, and Drug screening.
• Experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care for residents with complex physical, medical and intellectual challenges.
• Record observations and daily progress notes.
• Assist with meals and housekeeping duties in the house.
• Transport clients to appointments in Verland vehicles.
• Bathe, dress, and assist clients with personal hygiene.
• Participate in planning social, home, and recreational activities.
• Medication administration.
• Other duties as assigned.
